Relapsing theoretical physicist. Professional geek. Die-hard Doctor Who fan.
Writing worlds beyond the stars from wherever in the universe she happens to be — as long as there's decent coffee.
Military sci-fi on the front lines of an interstellar war. Flight Sergeant Jack Klingerman and an AI named Ally face Zero Point weapons, sabotage, and assassins.
The year is 2220. Life is a bit like those old sci-fi shows — in some ways. In others, not so much. Follow Karma through war, conspiracy, and uncharted space.
Waking up in a hostile environment with lungs full of stasis and no memory — not the usual start to the day. Some truths set you free. Others show you how trapped you really are.
Three gods kicked out of the unseen world. A badass woman with no memory and an android called Jelly-Bean. When you wake up with no idea who you are, you know it's going to be a bad day.
The galaxy's best spy goes freelance. Laugh-out-loud, swashbuckling space opera following the shenanigans of ex-government spy Jayne Austin.
Jack Reacher-esque action. In space. Former Union Operative Jack Burner takes no prisoners across a universe of trafficking rings, mercenaries, and loose ends.
In the future, even the broken can make a change. Follow Molly Bates through AIs, conspiracies, and the politics of an interstellar federation.
The battle for humanity's future across a new age of darkness.
From space anthropologists to rogues and rebels — stories that stand alone.
Jump in with a complete collection and explore entire universes in one go.
Ell Leigh Clarke is a relapsing theoretical physicist, professional geek, sci-fi novelist, and die-hard Doctor Who fan. Originally from England, she writes from wherever in the universe she happens to be — as long as there's reliable internet and decent coffee.
Her stories blend fast-paced action, sharp wit, and genuine heart. Whether it's a reluctant spy navigating intergalactic politics, a woman with no memories wielding a glowing sword, or a military officer thrust into an interstellar war — her characters are fully human, even when the universe around them is anything but.
With over 30 books across 8 series and multiple universes, she's built a loyal following of readers who love their sci-fi with a side of humour, high stakes, and characters worth caring about.
I felt like I'd just hopped on a fantastic ride at an amusement park, and I sort of resentfully watched the percentage left to read decreasing, far too rapidly. I still can't believe this is her first foray into writing fiction. She is a natural!
I literally read your first one in ONE sitting. I couldn't put it down to even eat. Thank God I didn't have plans for tonight because nothing got done except your book. Keep up the amazingly good work!
How good is Ell? About as good as it gets. If you are not a fan yet, you will be. I am 8 books in and I am FINALLY making time for reviews — that is how good it is.
I went through each of the books in this series in about three days each, while working full time. Sleep is overrated.
Fast paced, fun, great action and quality writing style combine to make Awakened a book well worth reading. This new addition to the KG empire is one of the best yet.
Well conceived characters, a well integrated universe and an excellent storyline. Three cheers for Ell Leigh Clarke and her new venture.
What isn't there to like? A new series, fallen Gods who play good (or bad) guys, scenes where characters use swords and blasters — and snark.
Bentley is a kick. The sword is frikken awesome! Okay Ell, I'm hooked. Sign me up for this series.
She brings her deep 'head' of science and melds it with the fiction of the future along with echoes from her homeland's mythology. A rare combination done brilliantly.
Another has been found. A little off beat, a little off course but totally going to kick your butt. Molly is struggling to find herself and trying hard to be right.
Was wondering how this was going to go and then it took off!! Love Jelly Bean!!
Swashbuckling fun. A young woman starts the story with no memories of who or where she is, but with some surprising skills. I'm looking forward to the next instalment.
I absolutely fell in love with this series and all the writers. I can actually read or listen to it over again and enjoy it just as much.
For a new author she made a great job of her first book! Molly felt like a work in progress, a sheltered girl with ethical issues released from her cage — and will cause mischief.
A fine start to a new fantasy saga. Settle down with plenty of time and your phone off for a fantastic adventure.
